Terry1terry3Terry is well known in the golf world as both an accomplished player and businessman. He was the recipient of the first golf scholarship ever given to a Canadian by the University of Miami, and graduated from that institution in 1981 with a BA in finance. A year later he opened Caddy Shed - Winnipeg's first golf retail outlet - when he was 22 years old. Caddy Shed was bought out 8 years later, and is still in existence today.

In 1989, Terry started Jazz Golf, a golf club manufacturer most notable for producing the world's first 500cc driver. Jazz went public in 2000, and is still the most successful line of Canadian golf clubs in history. While at Jazz Golf, Terry designed the Jazz ProFit Speed Rated System, which was unique in the world at the time. He also developed the world's first hybrid iron set, the first variable port driver, and the first 13 and 14 degree commercial drivers.

In 2005, Terry left Jazz to open his latest golf creation: a 3-hole golf course named Champion's Nest just outside of Winnipeg.

Terr2Terry has also had the good fortune to compete all over the world in both amateur and professional golf. He has won multiple national and international golf championships over a 30 year period, including the Duke of Edinburgh World Final in 2004. He was named provincial golfer of the year three times, and was a Manitoba athlete of the year finalist in 1999.

Terry has been involved in electronic swing analyzing techniques for years, and looks forward to using his experience in the golf world to help make PocketPro a success.
